Toronto & GTA Area Fall Apple Picking

21 September 2018
Kevin Hartley

Some farms and orchards will host hay or wagon rides, harvest shops with baked goods, homemade jams and preserves and much more. (Be sure to call ahead for details.) For the adults, some offer hard ciders and fruit wine.

If you’re looking to make apple pies for the season, candy coated apples for Halloween or just to have fresh and healthy snacks on hand, across the GTA there are plenty of farms and orchards for the pick’n.

And soon, the GREAT PUMPKIN will rise out of the pumpkin patch...oh wait, sorry I went off a bit there. Suffice it to say that many of the orchards below can also hook you up to home grown pie and Jack-o-lantern pumpkins.
